Get involved with In Choro Novo by giving your time or financial support to the group. Donor and volunteer support are crucial in helping us fulfill our mission to present exceptional performances and educate our listeners. Every season's costs accumulate from music licenses, recordings, venue rentals, and salaries. As ticket revenues cover only a portion of our costs, donors and advertisers make up the balance needed for In Choro Novo to operate.

In Choro Novo Mission Statement

The purpose of the Choir is to offer sacred and secular musical performances for the cultural enrichment of Boston and its surrounding communities as well as to highlight contemporary works by local composers.

Donations

Financial contributions are gratefully accepted year round.

Merchandise:

We also accept in-kind donations from businesses for use as gift items for our annual prize drawing in December. If you're interested in participating, email us as publicity@inchoronovo.com or call Therese Provenzano at (617) 469-3705. We are a 501(c)(3) organization, so as always, your contribution is tax deductible.

Advertisements

In Choro Novo welcomes advertisements from businesses and individuals that will be included in the programs of all of our public performances for the 2009-2010 season. The deadline for submitting all materials is Saturday, October 31, 2009. All advertisers will receive an In Choro Novo CD and free tickets good for your choice of any one concert during the season. In addition, full page advertisers will be entitled to reserved seating if they contact us in advance. For more information, please contact publicity@inchoronovo.com .

Volunteers

We're always on the lookout for volunteers to help run our public concerts in May and December. We need ticket takers, program distributors, mailing list administrators, prize drawing administrators, and technical help. All volunteers get free admission to our public concerts.
